“Likes are so yesterday.”
Chris Kerns on his article on Facebook Reactions check him out at Marketing Land
We love Likes, don’t we? They make life easier when you just support someone on products, life experience, beautiful design, its has endless uses and it has been the trade mark of Facebook since the begining, also for digital marketers and marketers is a tool of measurement they let us know if our campaign was recieve in a correct way or we need to change.
“Unlike the one-way nature of other media, social feedback mechanisms allow you to see how your audience is responding to different types of content with one lightning-fast, simple metric.” – Marketing Land
And its changing now whit the relatevly new Facebook Reactions putting a dose of difficulty of measurement to all the analitical reports platforms out there like Sproud Social or Agora Pulse that only reports likes and impressions as if they had forgoten how it use to be done back in the day when a marketer had to perform a brand perseption.
I admire so much the work on the Marketing Land that I encorage you to read their full article with examples on how to measure Facebook reactions. This is example is how a simple post can tell us grades of support to our content thake a look of the example here.
Now in the next picture you will se how Chris Kerns explains the reactions in a way that only can happend in this situation. Its a little bit more complicated but it works perfect as a post and c´mon babies and cats is what everyone likes.

Although my mind was sky-bound, the shadow of my body lies here.”
